You will be expected to maintain high standards of service excellence inline with our policies, procedures and operating practices and client expectations.

Job Title: Patrol & Response Officer
Reporting to: Security Operations Manager
Start – following satisfactory interview, background checks and DBS.
PAYE – paid 15th each month
This is a permanent contract position, therefore candidates need only apply for this role if they are flexible covering days, nights, weekends and bank/public holidays. From time to time you may be required to work additional hours as per the client needs.

You will be working alone and responsible for providing a first-class service, whilst ensuring the safety, security and health and safety of the premises, customers, assets and staff.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Vacant property inspections
- Providing a lock / unlock service at prearranged times
- Competing reports and emailing them to the relevant team
- Complete thorough inspections of premises for security breaches, health, safety and hazards
From time to time you may be required to:
- Respond to any intruder alarm activation
- Completing incident and alarm activation reports as required to a legible and accurate standard
- Providing escort duties and any other work as required
- Monitoring and resetting security systems
- Conducting random patrols of clients premises
- Liaising with the National Control Centre
Applicants must have/be
- Maintain the professional standards set by the company whilst representing our company and our clients
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Must be reliable with a good attendance record and excellent time management
- Must be able to work alone
- Presentable and smart
- Be confident at communicating at all levels
- A full clean UK driving licence with your own transport
An SIA licence and a valid First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.

Screening & Vetting
Applicants must be able to satisfactorily pass the BS 7858 screening & vetting.
- Identity check – we will verify your identifying credentials such as Passport or Birth certificate. This will be the first pre-employment screening and being critical for all employment in the UK. We will only accept original identification documents.
- Right to work check – this will validate your right to work status, we will validate authenticity by using Home Office sources.
- Address history – you will be required to provide proof of your current address and any other addresses you have lived within the last 10 years. You will also be subject to a search of the public electoral roll. Where an individual is not found on the electoral roll we will use other sources such as consumer credit ‘footprint’ data to prove transactional history of a person at a specific address.
- Checkable employment / unemployment / education / self-employment history – which involves an analysis of a minimum of 5-years checkable history for all periods of employment / unemployment / education or self-employment, as well as confirmation of any gaps of up to 31 days.
